About the Position
The TCBH Social Work Department is hiring a Licensed Behavioral Health Professional (LBHP) or LBHP Candidate to provide behavioral health services to adults with severe mental illness and/or substance abuse. The role includes completing biopsychosocial assessments, developing treatment plans, providing brief therapeutic interventions such as crisis stabilization, developing safety/wellness plans, and running psychotherapy groups as part of our structured group therapy model.

Annual pay rate:
Candidate - $66,000 +

Licensed - $71,000 +
(Pay range is based on experience, tenure, and certifications)
Primary working hours: Monday‑Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
FLSA status: Exempt
Primary work location: Tulsa Center for Behavioral Health – Social Work Department

Minimum Qualifications and Experience
(LBHP Fully Licensed)
– Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a closely related field and a practitioner license issued by an Oklahoma state licensure board (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LBP, LADC, etc.).
OR
– Master’s degree and active, regular board‑approved supervision with extended supervision by a fully licensed clinician, plus 1 year of experience providing professional behavioral services to consumers in a state‑approved facility, in order to become licensed by a board such as the Oklahoma Board of Behavioral Health Licensure or the Oklahoma Licensed Behavior Analyst Board.
(LBHP Candidate)
– Master’s degree and active, regular board‑approved supervision with extended supervision by a fully licensed clinician, in order to become licensed by a board such as the Oklahoma Board of Behavioral Health Licensure, Oklahoma Licensed Behavior Analyst Board, or the Oklahoma State Board of Licensed Social Workers.
Special Requirements
Applicant must pass an OSBI background check.
Applicant must be willing and able to fulfill any job‑related travel normally associated with this position and have a valid driver’s license.
