Our client, a leading organization in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Electro Mechanical Technician to join their team. As an Electro Mechanical Technician, you will be an integral part of the Maintenance team supporting the South Sioux City facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location:

South Sioux City, NE

Pay Range:

$32-42/hr based on experience

Shift:

3rd shift; 6pm-6am rotating 2‑2‑3 schedule

What's the Job?

Ensure the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment through general repairs and preventive maintenance.

Troubleshoot electrical control systems, PLCs, motors, and other mechanical components to identify and resolve issues efficiently.

Maintain safety standards by following site safety rules, participating in safety initiatives, and promoting a safety‑first culture.

Support regulatory compliance, quality standards, and GMP policies to ensure a safe and high‑quality production environment.

Document maintenance activities, analyze trends, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts across the facility.

What's Needed?

High School diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of 3 years of mechanical experience, preferably within a food manufacturing environment.

Working knowledge of PLCs, process control systems, 480V electrical systems, and industrial hydraulics.

Ability to use hand tools, shop tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively.

Strong communication skills, basic computer skills, and a positive work ethic.
