Primary Purpose
The Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) provides financial leadership, strategic insight, and analytical support to Corporate Finance, ComEd business partners, and senior leadership. This role oversees budgeting, forecasting, long‑range planning, and performance reporting for earnings, cash flows, and other key financial metrics, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment with corporate and regulatory objectives. The position plays a critical role in translating complex financial data into actionable insights that inform business decisions, capital investment strategies, and overall earnings performance.
Primary Duties
Lead the preparation of monthly financial forecasts and assist in the budgeting and long‑range planning processes, including consolidation, review, and communication of earnings, cash flow, and key performance drivers
Develop, maintain, and oversee distribution and transmission financial models, supporting earnings forecasts, capital planning, and operational decision‑making
Coordinate closely with Accounting and Regulatory teams to assess and validate financial impacts related to accounting treatment, regulatory mechanisms, and rate design considerations
Provide financial analysis and support for rate case filings and regulatory proceedings, including development of forecast assumptions, sensitivity analyses, and response to data requests
Manage the functions of financial analysts and assure development and supervision of staff to promote continued career growth and alignment of goals
Job Scope
Operates independently with little or no supervision.
Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field with 7–10 years of experience demonstrating success in finance or business operations.
Strong financial analysis skills, combined with effective written and verbal communication abilities.
Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial metrics, and financial statement relationships.
Working knowledge of business operations and industry practices, preferably within a regulated or capital‑intensive environment.
Demonstrated strength in Excel‑based financial modeling and effective use of Microsoft applications
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Oracle financial systems
3‑5 years of supervisory experience
Professional certification or recognized credential (e.g., CPA, CFA, MBA, or equivalent experience) strongly preferred.

Annual salary will vary based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: $111,200.00/Yr. – $152,900.00/Yr.
