Overview
Maintenance Technician A custom plastics manufacturing company in Libertyville, IL is hiring for a Maintenance Technician on 1st shift. We specialize in additive manufacturing services for production-grade parts across medical, electronics, consumer, automotive, aerospace and defense, automation, and industrial markets. The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining and troubleshooting HP Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) printers, Markforged printers, and other shop equipment, and will implement preventative maintenance programs.
Responsibilities
Equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
Mechanical and electrical maintenance
Facilities maintenance
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues
Maintain and repair auxiliary equipment such as air compressors, dryers, and ventilation systems
Experience with HP MJF and Markforged printers is a plus
Basic understanding of 3D printing processes and materials is a plus
Shift: First shift, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM; pay range $30–$35 per hour, based on experience
Responsibilities (continued)
Perform routine and preventative maintenance on HP MJF printers, Markforged printers, and other additive manufacturing equipment
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues to minimize downtime
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
Qualifications
Years of experience: 3 years
Experience level: Experienced
Education: High School
