2 nd Shift (2pm – 10pm Monday through Friday)
Starting Pay:
$21.50 + $2.00 Shift Premium
Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated and safety‑focused Fabrication Technician III to join our team. This role is responsible for operating and adjusting a wide range of fabrication equipment, performing precision inspections, and supporting continuous improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and adjust fabrication equipment including Rollformer, CNC Turret, Brake Press, Welder, Laser Machine, Aluminum Machining equipment, and CNC machining centers.
Set up cutting operations and select appropriate cutting programs.
Make necessary adjustments to downloaded programs.
Use precision measuring tools to perform accurate dimensional inspections.
Identify, document, and report defects or questionable material conditions.
Train new team members on fabrication processes and equipment.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen events, value stream mapping, layout planning).
Share ideas to improve productivity, reduce downtime, and enhance efficiency.
Embrace and adapt to process improvements and operational changes.
Maintain safety as the highest priority at all times.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
CNC machining experience required
Experience with Haas vertical milling centers preferred
Fabrication or manufacturing experience is beneficial but not required
Skills & Abilities
Strong leadership qualities and teamwork mindset
Excellent communication and organizational habits
Basic computer proficiency
Willingness to learn and follow instructions
Ability to follow all safety guidelines and procedures
