We are seeking a BE/BC Radiation Oncologist to join a comprehensive cancer care team within a not-for-profit health system in southwestern Virginia, providing cutting-edge radiation oncology services in a highly supported, patient-focused environment. Practice Highlights & Environment:Outpatient radiation oncology practice with coordinated inpatient collaboration as neededAverage patient volume: ~25 patients under active treatment per dayMonday–Friday schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PMStrong emphasis on work-life balance and multidisciplinary team-based careCommission on Cancer-accredited program committed to high-quality oncology standardsCollaborative, multidisciplinary cancer care team with strong referral network across a large regional health systemIntegrated coordination and documentation supported by EPIC EMR Technology & Clinical Resources: This position offers access to advanced radiation oncology technology and a fully integrated cancer care environment, including:Varian TrueBeam Linear AcceleratorEclipse Treatment Planning System supporting SRS, SBRT, 3D, IMRT, and electron treatmentsARIA Oncology Information System for integrated patient coordination and workflowAdvanced imaging capabilities, including a new GE CT scanner with 4D gating system (coming 2025)Comprehensive multidisciplinary oncology services, including medical oncology, hematology, and infusion therapy Compensation & Benefits:Competitive salarySigning bonusRelocation and moving allowanceFull benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and retirementCME allowance and professional development supportMalpractice coverageCommunity:Tucked into the Blue Ridge Highlands, this charming small town blends storybook scenery with real-world convenience—tree-lined streets, historic architecture, a vibrant arts scene, and easy access to hiking, biking, and trout streams that feel like a daily escape.
