Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Associate Veterinarian role located in Lowell, MI. The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for performing routine medical, surgical, and dental treatments for a variety of animals. Responsibilities include conducting examinations, diagnosing illnesses, prescribing medications, collaborating with veterinary technicians, and maintaining clear communication with pet owners. Qualifications
Strong clinical skills in diagnostics, medical treatment, surgery, and dental procedures
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client education and team collaboration
Proficiency in record-keeping, accuracy in documenting patient histories, and familiarity with veterinary technology tools
Commitment to continuing education and staying updated on veterinary medicine advancements
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited program
Licensure to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Michigan
Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
