Job Description:
We are seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Gastroenterologist for a full-time permanent opportunity in Ashtabula, Ohio, located along the scenic Lake Erie shoreline. This is an excellent chance to join a stable, employed multi-specialty group with strong referral volume, modern infrastructure, and long-term growth potential. Not accepting locums candidates. Position Overview Location: Ashtabula, OH (Northeast Ohio – Lake Erie region) Position Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Providers Needed: 1 Schedule: Days + Call Call: ~10 days per month Patient Volume: 15–20 patients per day (non-negotiable) Practice Type: Outpatient-focused Gastroenterology Practice & Clinical Details High-volume outpatient GI practice Group of 2 physicians with experienced APP and fully trained staff Blocked OR time Fully integrated EPIC EMR Strong referral base from employed and affiliated primary care physicians Onsite lab and imaging Affiliation with a nationally recognized health system 186-bed acute care community hospital serving ~98,000 regional population⚕️ Candidate Requirements Board Eligible or Board Certified – Gastroenterology Active Ohio medical license (or in process) DEA required prior to start BLS & ACLS by start date NPDB Self-Query (within 30 days) required at presentation Must live within 40-mile radius or be willing to relocate Locums submissions not accepted Community Highlights Beautiful Lake Erie shoreline living
