Family Practice - Without OB Physician

Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Primary Care

We are seeking a locum family practice physician to join a dynamic primary care office located in Manasquan, New Jersey. This practice is currently covering for maternity leave and offers a supportive environment with a dedicated team of 5 physicians and a mid-level provider. The schedule is from Monday to Friday, with hours from 8 AM to 5 PM, and extended hours on Tuesdays until 7 PM.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult and geriatric patients.
• Perform required general procedures including EKG interpretation and evaluation of acute volume/BP issues.
• Conduct adult outpatient services and occupational medicine procedures such as employment physicals and disability exams.
• Utilize Athena EMR for timely and accurate documentation.
• Participate in patient care with an average of 3 patients per hour.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified Physician preferred (will accept board eligible).
• Experience in primary care settings.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Prior experience in handling diverse patient populations is a plus.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active New Jersey State License (Required).
• Board Certification (Preferred).
• BLS and ACLS certifications (Preferred).
• Local provider status (Required).
