• Employment Type: Locum tenens (Travel contract)
• Location: On-site at a hospital in Tiffin, OH (Zip: 44883) - serving Seneca County and northwest Ohio
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $6,150 - $7,280
• Start Date: May 11, 2026
• End Date: August 10, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift / Call: 24-hour call (8a-8a), not in-house; includes call back - OB/GYN on-call coverage, labor & delivery shifts.
  Shift Duration: 12 Hour Days
• Setting: Hospital ER/GYN and Labor & Delivery call (inpatient OB, L&D, postpartum, triage)
• Unit Details: 10 LDRP beds, 3 postpartum beds, 1 triage, 12-bed normal newborn nursery
• Documentation: EPIC EMR (experience with EPIC preferred)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN)
• Active Ohio medical license (or eligible) and DEA registration
• NRP and ACLS certifications required
• Flu vaccine required; COVID-19 vaccine preferred
• Self-query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation
• Minimum 1 year of recent OBGYN inpatient / labor & delivery experience (C-sections and OB surgeries)
• Experience with EPIC EMR strongly preferred
• Availability for specified coverage dates and ability to provide reliable on-call OB/GYN coverage

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour on-call OB/GYN coverage for hospital-based patients (no in-house shift required)
• Perform C-sections, operative deliveries, and OB/GYN-related surgeries
• Manage labor and delivery, postpartum, triage, and normal newborn nursery cases
• Respond to emergency maternal-fetal situations and coordinate care with the ER when needed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, certified nurse midwives (CNMs), nursing staff, and ancillary services
• Document all patient care, orders, and procedures in EPIC EMR accurately and timely
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, credentialing requirements, and quality/safety protocols
