Seeking experiencedEmergency Medicine APPs (PA or NP) for a locums opportunity in Frankfort, KY.Join a high-functioning ED team in a community hospital setting with strongphysician support and steady patient volume.
Position Details:
Estimated Annual Volume: 30,000-40,000patients/year
Patients Per Hour: 1.8-2.2
Shift Lengths: 10-12hour shifts (days, evenings, nights available)
Schedule: Flexiblelocums coverage (weekday/weekend options)
EMR: Meditech (typical forsimilar sites)
Clinical Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients ofvarying acuity
Perform procedures within scope (lacerationrepair, splinting, I&D, etc.)
Collaborate with board-certified EMphysicians
Coverage may include fast track and main ED
Requirements:
Board Certified/Eligible PA or NP (EMexperience required)
Active KY license (or ability to obtain)
ACLS, PALS required
ATLS preferred
Minimum 1-2 years Emergency Medicineexperience preferred
Compensation & Perks:
Competitive hourly rate (based on experience)
All travel, lodging, and malpractice covered100% on top of rate
