Our client, a law firm, is seeking an Office Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis with potential to convert in Washington, D.C.

About The Job

Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, providing a professional and welcoming experience

Answer and direct incoming calls and manage front desk activities

Provide administrative support to attorneys and staff, including document preparation and scheduling

Coordinate meetings and events, including conference room setup and video conferencing

Manage mail, deliveries, office supplies, and basic vendor coordination

Support general office operations and ad hoc administrative projects

About You

5+ years of experience in a receptionist or administrative support role

Experience in a professional services or law firm environment preferred

Strong Microsoft Office and collaboration tool proficiency

Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities

Professional, client‑focused, and proactive

Comfortable working fully onsite and supporting office events

Able to lift up to 25 pounds

Associate's degree or higher preferred

About The Position

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 6 months with potential to convert

Hourly rate: $32-$35/hr

Permanent salary range: $75,000-$95,000

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm

Comfortable with occasional overtime

Fully onsite
