Senior Tax Accountant
Our client is a reputable Top 150 CPA firm located in Orange County. They are seeking a Sr. Tax Accountant.
Responsibilities
Prepare various tax returns including federal and state corporate, individual, gift and estate, trust and partnership returns.
Interact with clients to ensure satisfaction through open communication, managing and meeting deadlines and proactively sharing tax saving strategies.
Work closely with other Staff, Managers and Partners, on client management and professional development.
Apply basic knowledge of business functions, processes and strategies
Prepare financial statements with disclosures
Develop self-learning and problem solving skills
Involvement in marketing events/community service projects as appropriate
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting or required.
Masters in Taxation degree a plus.
CPA or on track to CPA preferred.
3+ years prior public accounting experience in taxation preferred
Strong technical skills pertaining to tax preparation, tax compliance, agency correspondence and tax research.
Ability to problem-solve and think both creatively and logically.
A demonstrated ability to self-direct and effectively organize, prioritize and manage multiple engagements under tight deadlines.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation
$95,000 per year
