Low Voltage / WiFi Installation Technician
Charleston, SC (Mostly Local | Some Travel)

Responsibilities
Pulling and installing CAT5/CAT6 (and some fiber) in commercial settings
Mounting, replacing, and cutover of WiFi Access Points (12+ APs per day expected)
Terminating and punching down cables: patch panels, 110/66 blocks
Interpreting low‑voltage blueprints and symbols
Supporting WiFi installations: MAC addresses, link lights, patching, maintaining live systems during changeover
Working in active hospitals and schools, combining construction‑style work with occupied facilities
Maintaining a professional appearance and customer‑first attitude
Qualifications
1+ year of low‑voltage experience
Ability to interpret basic blueprint symbols
Knowledge of color codes, RJ45 vs. RJ11, and JHook standards (5' spacing)
Own tools preferred
Comfortable working in healthcare and education environments
Schedule & Travel
Typically 4‑10s (Mon – Thur) or 5‑8s (Mon – Fri) depending on project and crew.
Some shift work required for hospital OR access (after 5 pm).
80‑90% local to Charleston, with 10‑20% travel to nearby regional locations.
Overtime available based on project demands.
