Co-op Job Description

Process and audit all New Business submissions for PA MID accounts.

Monitor incoming quotes daily to ensure timely processing.

Request all required documents needed for underwriters to complete their evaluations.

Review submitted materials to identify missing or incomplete information.

Partner with the Sales team to obtain any additional information necessary to complete submissions.

Organize and maintain case folders for all PA MID New Business submissions.

Assign New Business cases to underwriters and update assignment details accurately within the InFocus system.

Gather and prepare all required materials for small to mid-conversion quotes—including benefit summaries, census files, and applicable small-group renewals.

Daily Review of Concession Submission Requests (New Business and Renewals)

Monitor all concession requests daily to ensure timely review and prevent items from being overlooked.

Run and analyze reports such as Care Ratio and High Claimant (HC) reports for concession evaluation.

Request Risk Assessment reviews when appropriate to support timely evaluation of significant claimant activity.

Provide administrative and operational support to management, including generating weekly reports and completing additional assigned tasks.

Required Skills

Strong quantitative and mathematical aptitude

Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

High attention to detail with strong analytical thinking skills

Effective time management and ability to prioritize workflows

Strong organizational skills, including file organization and records management

Clear written and verbal communication skills

Proven problem‑solving ability and adaptability in high-volume, fast‑paced environments
