40–50% of loads require tarping

27% of linehaul revenue
Average weekly earnings $1,500–$2,000
$40 tarp pay
$50 layover pay after 24 hours
$16 detention pay after 2 hours
$300 weekly non-taxed per diem
Equipment
Drivers operate late‑model automatic tractors including Freightliner Cascadia and Kenworth T680 models.
