Campaign Manager

Our campaign is building a broad statewide field program to turn out voters across all across Kansas. The Field Director will design and implement the field plan, hire and manage the field organizing teams, and execute an ambitious GOTV program for both the August primary and November general.

Responsibilities

Design and lead the campaign’s statewide voter contact and field operations program, including canvassing, phone banking, and grassroots organizing.

Set voter contact targets and build the infrastructure to achieve them all across Kansas.

Hire and manage a growing field team.

Develop and execute the campaign’s Get Out the Vote (GOTV) plan for both the August primary and November general election.

Coordinate with the Data Director on voter targeting, turf cutting, and performance tracking.

Integrate field operations with the Political and Coalitions teams for coordinated community engagement.

Manage the field operations budget and vendor relationships for field tools and technology.

Experience & Qualifications

Minimum of two cycles of field experience, with at least one cycle directing a statewide or large-scale field program.

Proven ability to build and manage a large team of organizers and regional staff.

Experience setting and achieving ambitious voter contact goals.

Deep understanding of voter file management, canvassing tools, and field technology, including VAN.

Kansas / Midwestern / Competitive field experience strongly preferred.

What Success Looks Like
Success for the field director is measured by the campaign’s voter contact numbers against targets, volunteer recruitment and retention, the quality and reach of the field program across the state - all building up to the effective execution of GOTV operations to win on Election Day.
