A Day in the Life:
The Bunge North America Bellevue, OH location is looking for a Lab Technician for our processing/refinery plant. This position is responsible for the integrity and safety of food and feed products throughout the manufacturing process utilizing various standards and established testing methods, operating procedures, and adherence to protocols and policies.
Position Details:
Night Shift: 4:45pm-5:00am (rotating 12‑hour shifts). Must have availability to work weekends and holidays.
Pay: $29.78‑$31.78 an hour (+$1.00 shift premium)
What You'll Be Doing:
Routine analytical testing of products produced at the plant
Data entry for testing results using QA database
Prepare testing solutions, equipment calibrations, and upkeep of the laboratory
Maintain lab equipment
Troubleshoot problems with lab equipment or testing operations
Assist with projects in the lab as needed
Update standard work in lab and equipment as directed by supervisor
Participate in plant/department safety training and activities
Minimum Qualifications:
Computer skills, including the use of Word and Excel
Good decision making and teamwork skills
Ability to operate lab equipment and hand tools
Ability to work independently
Will be required to work alone at times
Good attendance and reliability are critical
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Good organization, communication, and multi‑tasking skills
Ability to stand and work a 12‑hour shift, days or nights
Ability to work at heights on man lifts, in extreme temperatures, and in a soybean processing plant with dust as a possible allergen
Preferred Qualifications:
Some college classes with chemistry/biology emphasis
