Responsibilities
Responsible for providing care which includes assessment, treatment, and diagnostic evaluation of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system. Consults with physicians. Provides consultation, instruction and/or technical direction to medical, nursing and other staff members.
Job Requirements
Minimum of Associate degree.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Preferred Job Requirements
Two years of experience in a hospital or medically related environment.
Must possess a current Oklahoma RCP license and have passed the NBRC Registry for Respiratory Therapy (RRT) CRT exam.
