RN Registered Nurse - Involuntary Psych Child Adol
Location: Monmouth Medical Center, 300 Second Avenue, Long Branch, NJ 07740
Department: Involuntary Psych Child Adol
Pay Range: $46.90 – $63.09 per hour
Responsibilities
Provides nursing care in scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards and assures awareness of ethical standards of practice as defined by the ANA code of ethics.
Assures safety in practice and includes principles of evidence‑based practice by maintaining own individual level of knowledge and experience and assumes responsibility for advancing knowledge with the patient care team through communication with resource persons and programs.
Reports identified safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors.
Maintains knowledge of the patient population served.
Supervises and directs delegation of tasks to appropriate team members and collaborates with other patient care providers.
Sets and evaluates priorities through appropriate interventions with measurable outcomes toward improvement.
Acts as an individual practitioner and interdisciplinary team manager, utilizing the nursing process to integrate all aspects of care and individualizing the plan of care to address specific patient’s needs.
Qualifications
Required
ASN or Nursing Diploma
Strong communication and organizational skills
Proficient computer skills
Preferred
BSN or must be completed within 5 years upon hire
National certification preferred
Certifications and Licenses
BLS
Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License
