JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Position: Conform Machine Operator in the Extrusion Department. The main purpose of this position is to perform all the necessary functions for producing a quality bare wire product. All aspects of this position are on-the-job training, and all employees will be trained fully by a qualified trainer.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education/Experience
Minimum high school graduate or the equivalent.
A manufacturing or industrial background is but not necessary.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Good interpersonal skills and a willingness to work as a member of a team.
Ability to sit, climb, bend, stoop, and reach while working in a production environment.
Capability to manually lift up to 70 pounds and move heavier objects with mechanical assistance.
Good eyesight is a requirement.
Manual dexterity for writing and banding activity.
Ability to interact with employees and others to accomplish company goals.
Capability to read hand micrometers.
Hearing ability that allows efficient communication with fellow employees.
Adaptability and creativity under stressful situations.
Ability to identify and resolve or seek appropriate assistance to resolve problems during task performance.
Working Conditions
The majority of time will be spent in an open warehouse and manufacturing facility with normal environmental conditions. Clean working environment.
