Key Responsibilities
CNC Operation:
Loading and unloading workpieces, monitoring machine cycles, ensuring parts meet specifications, and programming existing CNC programs on the machines.
Machine Shop Support:
Utilizing manual lathes, grinders, and measuring tools to assist in production of rubber rollers.
Molding Department:
Assisting with general labor tasks within the molding area as needed.
Quality Control:
Measuring and inspecting finished products to ensure high quality standards.
Problem Solving:
Identifying mechanical issues and working efficiently to keep production on schedule.
Qualifications & Requirements
Required Training:
Certification or formal training in CNC (Computer Numerical Control) operation from a vocational school or accredited training service.
Mechanical Aptitude:
Comfortable working with hands and understanding basic mechanical principles.
Skill Set:
Familiarity with lathes, grinders, and precision measuring tools.
Mindset:
Must be a self-starter who takes initiative without constant supervision.
Experience:
Ideally 2 years of shop experience; willing to consider candidates with right training and high reliability.
