Loan Officer Associate
We are Lennar, a Fortune 500® company dedicated to building quality homes and providing exceptional customer service. The Loan Officer Associate assists Loan Officers while developing skills to become a Loan Officer. The role includes online and classroom education, operational and hands‑on training.

Responsibilities

Participate in formal training programs covering lending, credit assessment, and the loan approval process. Train with a manager on mortgage rate sheets to accurately price and lock loans. Review daily, weekly, and monthly reports to learn the mortgage process from application to closing.

Complete mortgage licensing and state licensing tests as required; maintain knowledge of RESPA through continuing education.

Update loan applications, maintain notes in the Loan Origination System, and prepare files for processing.

Develop and maintain relationships with builders, realtors, and local marketing campaigns; work with Division Manager and Loan Officers on marketing initiatives.

Act as the primary contact between borrowers and Loan Officers; schedule meetings, address follow‑up issues, and ensure borrower outreach via phone, email, and chat.

Assist processors and closers with loan documents; engage with internal associates; flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (BA or BS preferred).

Mortgage or banking experience (preferred).

Experience articulating product or service features, benefits, and value.

Genuine passion for customer satisfaction.

Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements
Requires regular in‑person attendance at company sites during regular work hours. Must work beyond eight hours per day in a construction trailer, read plans, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move or carry equipment up to 50 pounds, and occasionally operate construction equipment. Finger dexterity is required for computer keyboard and calculator.
