Qualifications
Candidate will have a BSCE California Registration as a Professional Engineer and a minimum of five (5) years of land development experience (or the equivalent of ten (10) years of total work experience).

Candidate must demonstrate independent thought and decision‑making abilities, possess management and supervisory skills, and be adept at establishing and maintaining strong positive working relationships with clients, public agency personnel, and in‑house professional peers.

Candidate’s experience must include supervision of engineering designers (daily assignments, review, and quality control), management of project schedules and budgets, preparation of contracts, proposals, and scopes of work, and significant client and public‑agency interactions.

Candidate’s technical experience must include preliminary engineering design studies (incorporating land use and zoning considerations, assessment of site constraints, and potential regulatory issues), preparation and processing of tentative and final subdivision maps, preparation and processing of public improvement plans and development plans for commercial and residential developments, and preparation and review of attendant hydrologic studies and drainage reports.

AutoCAD/Civil 3D or MicroStation/Inroads CAD experience required.

Responsibilities
Oversee engineering design and development of land projects, coordinate with clients and public agencies, prepare documentation and contracts, manage schedules and budgets, enforce quality control, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
