AI/ML Engineering Intern (Associate I – Data Science)
Opportunity
Build Generative AI Systems: Design and implement production‑grade RAG pipelines, including document chunking, embedding generation, retrieval strategies, and vector database integration.
Develop Agentic Workflows: Build and orchestrate autonomous multi‑agent systems using frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, and OpenAI Agent SDK.
Accelerate Software Development: Leverage modern AI‑assisted developer tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor to enhance developer productivity and automate engineering workflows.
Develop Scalable AI Services: Build robust backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI to support AI‑powered applications.
Evaluate AI Systems: Define and implement evaluation frameworks for LLMs and AI agents, focusing on metrics such as faithfulness, answer relevancy, retrieval quality, and hallucination detection.
Apply AI Expertise: Utilize knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and computer vision to build and enhance AI‑driven solutions.
Collaborate on Cloud Deployments: Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure to build scalable AI systems.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a 4‑year undergraduate degree (minimum requirement) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field. Master’s and PhD students are strongly encouraged.
Strong proficiency in Python and experience building backend systems or APIs.
Familiarity with modern frameworks such as FastAPI, Node.js, or similar.
Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering fundamentals.
Understanding of RAG architectures, embeddings, retrieval strategies, and vector databases.
Exposure to agent frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, OpenAI Agent SDK, ADK, MCP, or agent‑to‑agent workflows.
Good understanding of SQL and relational databases.
Experience working with structured and semi‑structured data.
Familiarity with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure.
Exposure to modern AI engineering tools and development environments.
Strong foundation in probability, statistics, linear algebra, and calculus.
Curiosity to explore cutting‑edge AI technologies.
Ability to learn quickly and work in fast‑paced technical environments.
Strong problem‑solving mindset and effective communication skills.
Compensation
Role Location: Georgia
Compensation Range: $56,000–$84,000
Benefits
