Clinical Research Coordinator Registered Nurse (CRC‑RN)

Job Summary
Assist with and oversee the day‑to‑day operations of clinical trials and studies, including informed consent, data collection, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with and oversee the day‑to‑day operations of clinical trials and studies.
Obtain subject medical history, review protocol inclusion/exclusion criteria, and confirm eligibility.
Perform or ensure the informed consent process is completed, documented, and filed correctly.
Interview prospective subjects and provide information through phone contacts and personal interviews.
Schedule subject participation, coordinating space and clinical research support.
Collect, code, and analyze study data accurately and timely.
Adhere to regulatory standards for research.
Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure required tests and procedures are performed and documented (vital signs, phlebotomy, specimen processing, EKGs, drug administration, protocol‑specific tests).
Perform specific tests and procedures as needed: ECG, vitals, phlebotomy, specimen processing and shipping.
Complete Epic/Beacon Treatment Plan builds and amendments.
Work Location
Onsite – Aurora, Colorado, University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or related degree.
An Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) and two years of experience to substitute for BSN.
Three years of clinical research or related experience.
Current registered nurse license.
Preferred Qualifications
Four years of clinical research or related experience.
Experience with electronic data capture systems (EMR/EHR and data management systems).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Advanced knowledge of federal regulations and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
Excellent written and oral communication.
Ability to establish working relationships throughout the institution.
Outstanding customer service skills.
Knowledge of basic human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
Ability to interpret and master complex research protocol information.
