About This Role
We're looking for a Retail Pharmacy Technician with strong attention to detail, a patient-focused mindset, and the ability to keep operations running smoothly.
This position is Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. You'll spend your day assisting patients, supporting pharmacists, and helping maintain an organized, efficient pharmacy environment.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Ordering
Accurately stock shelves and maintain proper inventory levels
Receive and log incoming orders and invoices
Remove expired medications and process returns appropriately
Keep the pharmacy clean, organized, and well‑stocked
Customer Service
Answer phone calls professionally and assist with refills, pricing, and general questions
Collect and update patient information with care and accuracy
Process transactions and provide a positive customer experience
Technical Responsibilities
Enter prescription data into the pharmacy system accurately
Prepare labels, vials, and packaging for prescriptions
Scan, bag, and organize completed prescriptions for pickup while maintaining confidentiality
Team Support
Work closely with pharmacists and team members to ensure smooth workflow
Assist with insurance processing and claim forms
Help maintain a clean and organized workspace
Provide delivery support when needed (valid driver’s license required)
What You Bring
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong communication skills—both written and verbal
Excellent attention to detail
Comfort working with computers and pharmacy systems
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand, bend, and reach for extended periods
Frequent phone and in‑person customer interaction
Ability to remain calm and professional during busy periods
