Drayer Physical Therapy, a brand partner of Upstream Rehabilitation, is looking for a Part Time Patient Care Coordinator to join our team in Philipsburg, PA.

What is a Patient Care Coordinator?
A Patient Care Coordinator is an entry‑level office role responsible for maintaining pleasant and consistent daily operations of the clinic. They possess excellent customer service skills, multitask across multiple computer programs, and support clinic growth through effective management of patient intake and practice management.

A day in the life of a Patient Care Coordinator:

Greets everyone who enters the clinic in a friendly and welcoming manner.

Schedules new referrals received by fax or telephone from patients and physician offices.

Verifies insurance coverage for patients.

Maintains an orderly and organized front office workspace.

Other duties as assigned.

Position Summary
The Patient Care Coordinator (PCC-I) supports clinic growth through excellence in execution of the practice management role and patient intake processes. Working in collaboration with the Clinic Director, the PCC-I carries out efficient clinic procedures and supports the mission, vision, and values of Upstream Rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

Collect all money due at the time of service.

Convert referrals into evaluations.

Schedule patient visits.

Deliver customer service.

Create an inviting clinic atmosphere.

Make welcome calls to monitor and influence arrival rate.

Practice Management: manage schedule, document routing, personal overtime, non‑clinical documentation, deposits, and clinic inventory; monitor and report caseload, D/C candidate, progress notes, and insurance data.

Training: attend required training with Territory Field Trainers (TFT) for Raintree and other business process updates, and complete quarterly compliance training.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Strong communication skills to interact with Business Office and Field leadership.

Ability to multitask, maintain organizational detail, meet deadlines, and work with minimal supervision.

Team player with efficient time‑management and presentation skills.

Physical Requirements

Subject to inside environmental conditions; exposed to indoor noise.

Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of evenings or weekends.

Requires sedentary work, mainly seated with occasional standing.

Must communicate effectively using oral and written skills.

Operates computer and office equipment; repetitive typing motions.

Must be capable of reading and comprehending information on screen.

Occasional light lifting (0–20 lbs.) and commuting duties such as pushing or pulling.

Rarely requires crawling, kneeling, or climbing stairs.
