Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position in Coldspring, TX, for a Registered Nurse (RN). The RN will provide comprehensive clinical care to patients in their homes, including conducting assessments, administering medications and treatments, managing wound care, and monitoring patient progress. The RN will also coordinate with other healthcare professionals and provide education and support to patients and their families regarding at-home care plans and wellness practices. The role requires thorough documentation and ensures compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
Licensure and Certification:
Active RN license in the state of Texas, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Clinical Skills:
Experience with wound care, administering medications, and performing physical assessments.
Communication and Collaboration:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to educate and provide compassionate support to patients and families, and work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Time Management and Organization:
Ability to manage schedules, prioritize patient care, and maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatments.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance:
Knowledge of regulatory compliance and best practices in home health and hospice care.
Technology:
Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.
Experience:
Experience in home health or hospice care is a strong advantage.
Other:
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally for patient visits.
