100% Breast Imaging Radiologist Opportunity at Brand New Imaging Center | Columb

Position Summary
Full‑time Breast Imaging Radiologist (100% onsite) at the newly opened Imaging Center in Columbia, South Carolina. Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM; no weekends or call. The role focuses on high‑quality patient care and collaborative practice within a multidisciplinary breast team.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive breast imaging services, including screening and diagnostic mammography (all units are tomosynthesis), breast MRI, and image‑guided biopsies.

Perform ultrasound, MRI, stereotactic, and localization procedures for biopsies and markings.

Utilize state‑of‑the‑art imaging equipment and PACS systems.

Participate in weekly Breast Tumor Boards to discuss patient management.

Maintain collaborative relationships with breast medical oncology, genetics, surgical oncology, radiation oncology, pathology, surgery, and plastic/reconstructive teams.

Adhere to MQSA guidelines and institutional quality standards.

Qualifications

MD with board certification in Diagnostic Radiology (BC or BE).

MQSA certification and completion of a one‑year fellowship in Breast Imaging.

Strong foundation in all aspects of breast imaging: screening and diagnostic mammography, MRI, biopsies, and localizations.

Excellent technical and diagnostic skills with proficiency in image‑guided procedures.

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to maintain an upright, seated, and mobile work posture; perform repetitive hand and wrist motions; lift and carry up to 15 lbs.; and work indoors under varying environmental conditions. Specific requirements include maintaining 20/40 vision, adequate hearing acuity, and the ability to perform fine- and gross-motor tasks as needed.
