Job Description
This is a posting for postdoctoral positions working in the research groups of faculty in the Department of Chemistry on the UMN Twin Cities campus. This standing posting will remain open throughout the 2025-2026 academic year.
Postdoctoral Associates conduct research or service that further develops career skills or provides opportunities to learn new research techniques. They are trained and work in conjunction with a faculty mentor who determines the training agenda. Postdoctoral Associates may supervise research assistants and laboratory personnel. Responsibilities include development, interpretation, and implementation of policies, guidelines and procedures; general advising and counseling unrelated to coursework; conducting institutional and inter-institutional policy and planning reviews; providing resource support for committees; collecting and analyzing data; keeping records; preparing reports; abstracting.
Time allocation: 75% Laboratory Research and mentoring of junior researchers; 25% Literature Research and Writing.

Qualifications
Required: Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related field.
Pay and Benefits
Pay Range:
$61,008 - $70,000 annually; depending on education, qualifications, and experience.
