Licensed Massage Therapists
to provide
in-home therapeutic massage services
to children and adults diagnosed with
intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
through our Home and Community Support program.
This role allows you to
use your massage skills in a flexible, person-centered way , helping ease muscle tension, reduce spasms, improve mobility, and promote relaxation—while meeting individuals where they are most comfortable. Sessions are adaptable and may be held on a massage table, in a chair, on the floor, or another appropriate setting, according to the individual’s needs, preferences, and environment. You’ll also collaborate on
assessments and therapy plans
tailored to each person.
No prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is required—we provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to help you feel confident and successful in this role. Requirements
Active Massage Therapist license in Colorado
Two years experience and/or related education or training working with persons who have developmental disabilities preferred
Prefer working knowledge of the developmental disabilities system, rules and regulations
Knowledge of motor development, motor disorders and appropriate therapeutic interventions
Ability to maintain necessary training, certifications and licensure
Excellent oral and written communication skills; effectively communicates with individuals served, families, staff and others
Ability to read and write effectively in English and Spanish is a plus
Effectively write progress reports and implement plans
Function interdependently with persons served, co-workers, other staff, agency administration, and external agencies while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries
Ability to meet physical demands of the position
Ability to work flexible hours
Personal vehicle in good operating condition for use during work
Valid Colorado motor vehicle license and proof of adequate motor vehicle insurance
Must meet driving requirements: no suspensions/revocations in the past three (3) years and no more than two (2) tickets in the past three (3) years

Starting Salary & Benefits
$35.00 per hour spent doing massage sessions, training, visits, and supervision + $15.16 per hour for drivetime.
If working 18 hours per week or more, employees are eligible for the following benefits:

Responsibilities
Coordinate with HCS Supervisor and CCB Case Manager to ensure the need for massage therapy is identified by Medicaid State Plan therapist (OT or PT) or a physician
Establish the treatment goal and monitor progress at least quarterly
Perform consultative visits to families either alone or in consultation with other team members
Ensure adherence to Division for Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (DIDD) rules and regulations and agency policies and procedures in provision of services
Complete all program-related documentation
Accommodate individuals and families schedules in planning meetings
Monitor health and safety issues, advise as necessary; work with HCSP Supervisor as required
