
Emergency Response Paramedic

Event Paramedic – PER DIEM, SEASONAL opportunity at The Gorge (754 Silica Road NW, George, WA 98848). Starting pay $27.06/hr (DOE); location: The Gorge, WA.
Responsibilities
Ensure all event medical operations align with AMR & CrowdRx goals, strategic plans, and contractual obligations.
Deliver on‑site Advanced Life Support (ALS) care in accordance with medical guidelines, protocols, scope of practice, and company policies.
Respond calmly, professionally, and effectively to medical and public‑safety requests at assigned venues or event areas.
Conduct thorough patient assessments, recognize changes in condition, and provide appropriate emergency treatment, often in high‑stress environments.
Coordinate and arrange emergent and non‑emergent patient transport to higher levels of care, communicating with EMS and receiving facilities.
Utilize medical equipment and procedures—including stretchers, airway equipment, IV supplies, splints, bandages, medications, and PPE—to deliver safe, high‑quality care within scope of practice.
Communicate clearly, compassionately, and professionally with patients, families, bystanders, venue staff, leadership, dispatch personnel, and public‑safety officials.
Report public‑health and safety concerns to venue staff and internal management.
Operate communications systems, medical equipment, and tools necessary to perform duties.
Listen to and follow direction from Dispatch; provide timely updates regarding patient status, scene conditions, and outcomes on radio or telephone.
Complete, generate, and submit all required patient‑care reports and documentation accurately.
Adhere to medical treatment protocols, quality‑assurance standards, SOPs, and company policies.
Maintain all required state certifications, licenses, and credentials; remain up‑to‑date on continuing‑education requirements.
Attend and complete mandatory training, in‑service programs, and assigned company training within required timeframes.
Operate company vehicles per Risk & Safety policies and applicable traffic laws; maintain a record that meets policy requirements.
Navigate venue locations quickly and safely using venue layouts and navigation tools.
Perform shift‑start vehicle, equipment, and supply checks for mechanical readiness.
Report vehicle, equipment, or supply deficiencies and safety concerns promptly.
Monitor and maintain first‑aid rooms, medical stations, vehicles, and gear, ensuring supplies are stocked, in‑date, tagged, clean, and functional.
Clean, restock, fuel, and secure vehicles and equipment at shift end.
Maintain issued uniform, use required PPE consistently.
Follow all procedures, report times, and deployment instructions.
Foster respectful relationships with coworkers, supervisors, venue staff, public‑safety personnel, and partners.
Adhere to the company’s Standards of Conduct at all times.
Qualifications
Minimum 18 years of age.
High‑school diploma or GED required.
Valid driver’s license with compliance to company policy.
Washington State Paramedic credential required (or ability to obtain prior to start).
NREMT‑P preferred; required to obtain WA State Paramedic license.
CPR/BLS certification (AHA required).
ACLS certification.
Pass a Physical Agility Test (PAT).
1+ year of ALS provider experience preferred.
911 experience preferred.
Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Effective customer‑service skills.
Working understanding of special event operations and customer service.
Strong listening, comprehension, adaptability, and decision‑making ability.
Other certifications as required by local City, County or State.
Pay
Starting pay from $27.06/hr to $37.30/hr DOE.
