Responsibilities
Assist with preparing outpatient prescriptions, batching sterile and/or non-sterile preparations, managing inventory, maintaining patient profiles, processing prescription claims, and interacting with patients.
Collect medication history and allergy information from patients and accurately document in the electronic medical record when applicable.
Maintain quality assurance data and procedures for the non-sterile and sterile preparation areas and products prepared.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
New York State Pharmacy Technician License
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with the Pharmacy Technician Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
Basic computer literacy
One year of experience in hospital or community pharmacy practice setting (preferred)

Full-time night shift position 11:00pm-7:00am, including rotating weekends/holidays, located at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.
