Job Description:
Transplantation and Cellular Therapy Physician - Charlotte, NCPosition Details
Seeking a physician with experience in hematopoietic cell transplantation and CAR-T cell therapy
Ideal candidate will have a subspecialty interest in leukemia and myelodysplasia
FACT-accredited program performing allogeneic/autologous transplantation and CAR-T therapy
Program includes seven physician providers and 12 advanced practice providers
Rounding and call schedule is 1:4, with APPs taking first call
High-level support from pathology, blood bank, radiology, ICU, and specialist services
Providers cover only one site (no cross-site rounding or call coverage)
Newly developed outpatient Cellular Therapy and Apheresis Unit with 12 HEPA-filtered patient rooms
Onsite stem cell lab under construction (completion expected December 2025)
Dedicated Phase 1 clinical trial units at both Charlotte and Winston-Salem locations
Candidate QualificationsBoard-certified or board-eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology
New graduates and physicians with 1
2 years of post-fellowship experience are encouraged to apply
Comfortable with patient population aged 18+
