Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a diagnostic radiology technologist for a full‑time evening shift (3:00 pm–11:30 pm). This position offers a benefit‑eligible compensation package, including a sign‑on and relocation bonus.

Summary
Operates diagnostic imaging equipment and performs diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with department policy and procedures. Works within the "Standards of Ethics" of the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and the "Clinical Practice Standards" established by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT). Collaborates with physicians to perform a variety of specialized procedures, setting up and adjusting equipment as needed. Positively positions patients to obtain images, respecting their comfort and safety. Obtains appropriate patient information, provides radiation protection to patient, technologist, and others in the area using PPE and guidelines as necessary. Recognizes emergent situations and activates assistance when required. Provides assistance to other areas and shifts as needed. Adheres to Parkview Standards of Behavior.

Education
Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training.

License/Certification
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (encourages advanced certification if applicable). The technologist may work with the student permit granted by the Indiana State Board of Health for six months post‑graduation from a radiology school/program, after which a valid Indiana State Board of Health license is required. CPR certification is required.

Experience
Previous experience preferred but not required; experience in a similar role is acceptable.

Other Qualifications

Knowledge of imaging various anatomical structures.

Ability to lift 50 lbs., 100 lbs. shared lifting.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Working knowledge of general computer skills and applications.

Readiness to take calls.

Ability to multi‑task and work independently using critical‑thinking skills.
