About the Role
At HNTB, you can create a career that is meaningful while helping build community infrastructure. In this role, you will assist the assigned department by performing engineering tasks such as research, development, calculations, design, and project delivery.
What You’ll Do
Complete discipline engineering project elements including reports, designs, specifications, and plans.
Coordinate with engineers when plans are ready to be signed.
Work closely with other disciplines on multi‑discipline projects.
Assist the engineer in outlining objectives, requirements, and design approaches.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology or a related field with at least 6 years of relevant experience, or
Associate’s degree in Drafting or a related field with at least 8 years of relevant experience, or
10 years of related experience in lieu of education.
What We Prefer
Experience with OpenRoads Designer (2D & 3D)
Experience with AutoCAD
Experience with Bluebeam Revu
Familiarity with design and workflow for civil infrastructure engineering projects
Familiarity with MoDOT Design Standards and processes
