What You’ll Do

Provide Hands‑On Care:

Assist individuals with daily activities such as personal care, meal prep and transportation while fostering independence.

Support Mental Health & Behavioral Management:

Use de‑escalation techniques, conflict resolution, and person‑centered approaches to help individuals overcome behavioral challenges. Work with behavioral guidance plans as needed.

Create a Safe & Welcoming Environment:

Maintain a clean, safe space that supports comfort and personal goal attainment.

Mentor & Guide:

Offer supervision, positive reinforcement and guidance to help individuals achieve aspirations. Assist with staff scheduling, consistent programming and communication with the support team.

Household Management:

Coordinate finances, activities, program services, family involvement, education/vocational programs, health and nutrition needs.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience delivering behavioral health services, demonstrating de‑escalation, conflict resolution, positive support methods and a person‑centered approach.

At least 1 year of lead staff experience in residential services or a two‑year degree in a related field.

Ability to understand and implement behavior support plans (BSP), treatment plans, functional assessments, individualized support plans (ISP) and person‑centered plans.

Minimum age 18 years.

High School Diploma or GED required.

Passion for helping others and experience with mental health conditions (e.g., bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, depression, anxiety).

Physical stamina to walk, stand, lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Basic computer skills for tracking progress and documentation.
