BayCare Health System is currently seeking a Registered Charge Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate Pre-Admission Testing team at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
Responsibilities
Being proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective managerial skills.
Acting as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team.
Developing self and team members and sharing organizational information.
Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse.

Qualifications
Certifications and Licensures
BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required
RN (Registered Nurse) license is required
ACLS Certification if required by department
RN Professional Nurse Specialty Certification within 7 months of hire/promotion in lieu of education. Certification must be RN Professional, nationally recognized and applicable to the current primary area of practice on the approved Clinical Registered Nurse Certifications Grid.
Nurse Specialty certification is preferred
Education
Bachelors degree in Nursing, BS Healthcare related field, or RN Professional Nurse Specialty Certification is required within 7 months of hire/promotion.
Experience
2 years of RN experience is required. At least one year of RN experience in pre-admission testing is preferred.
1 year of leadership experience is preferred
