Pharmaceutical Sales Representative – Hackensack, NJ
This position is offered through Galt Phranchisee, VK Health Innovations, LLC., and is responsible for promoting and marketing Galt Pharmaceuticals products within the Hackensack, NJ territory.
Business Development
Develop the territory franchise as a business profit center.
Create a business plan to achieve sales goals, including account identification, marketing initiatives, expense allocation, and time management.
Establish a minimum of 20 accounts that meet Galt 10 parameters.
Form strategic partnerships with healthcare practices and pharmacies.
Participate in territory business reviews with franchise owners.
Collaborate with corporate functions (marketing, supply chain, operations, sales) to share best practices across the organization.
Territory Management
Represent Galt Pharmaceuticals and demonstrate understanding of the company’s vision, principles, and values.
Understand the social and political culture of communities within the franchised territory.
Perform data analysis to evaluate targeting, trends, and prospecting.
Use tools such as CRM, sales, and prescription data to measure performance and activities.
Approach territory management with a people‑centric focus rather than targeting purely competitive products.
Represent Galt as a better way to deliver pharmaceutical care, one patient at a time.
Prepare for and adapt to changes in the business, territory, and market to sustain account growth.
Make sound financial decisions that save time and reduce expenses.
When required, work with accounting and compliance departments to collect payments and required documentation for pharmacy accounts.
Implement efficient routing and execution of market strategy in healthcare offices, pharmacies, physicians, and anchor pharmacies based on the Galt Sales Process.
Account Management
Implement Galt’s account management and sales processes.
Work with accounts to solve problems, deliver value, and apply product knowledge and benefits.
Differentiates the business through white‑glove, concierge service that adds true value to customers.
Actively listen to internal and external stakeholders to identify barriers, gaps, and opportunities.
Facilitate solutions through excellent problem‑solving skills and deep knowledge of the business and customer needs.
Professional Skills
Outstanding interpersonal, improvisational, and solution‑finding skills.
Strong metacommunication skills, active listening, and oral presentation.
Command of complex medical and pharmaceutical terminology.
Proficiency in the use of iPads, computers, and mobile devices.
Intermediate computer skills in iOS, Windows, Word, and Excel.
Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently without supervision.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
Demonstrates integrity and high ethical and professional standards in all interactions.
1–2 years of B2B, DME, or healthcare sales experience preferred.
Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a business‑related field preferred.
Employment Requirements
Must pass Sales and Clinical/Compliance Training.
Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
