Overview
The Ambulatory Nurse utilizes a systematic approach to nursing by incorporating assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in the practice of nursing. Provides healthcare to individuals, families, and communities within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Illinois Board of Nursing.
Qualifications
Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) – Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days – American Heart Association (AHA)
Associate's Degree
Relevant work experience (details not specified)
Responsibilities
Provide and facilitate competent health care for patients and families within the area of practice
Ensure adherence to established standards of care and scope of practice
Ensure documentation of care is complete and accurate
Provide health and wellness education to individuals and groups
Act as preceptor and support the development of other staff and healthcare students
Provide leadership for initiatives designed to improve the quality of care or clinical outcomes
Assist Nursing Supervisor/Coordinator in the development of departmental standing orders
Registry work for PCMH Follow‑up nurse visits
Phone triage and transitional care management
Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for this position is $30.39 per hour - $52.27 per hour. This represents a good‑faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked, and compensation model.
