Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Salesforce Release Engineer to manage and optimize release processes, ensuring smooth deployments and maintaining high-quality standards within our Salesforce environment.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and maintain the integrity and quality of software releases.
Manage and monitor CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments.
Debug and troubleshoot release-related issues.
Document and improve release processes and procedures.
Ensure adherence to release schedules and deliverables.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with releases.
Communicate release status and updates to stakeholders.
Minimum Skills and Qualification Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience in release management or a similar role.
Experience managing releases in an Agile environment.
Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Knowledge of Salesforce release lifecycle and DevOps best practices.
Proficiency with Copado (Pipelines, User Stories, Back Promotions, Compliance Hub).
Experience with CI/CD tools (Copado, Salesforce DX, Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI).
Hands-on experience with GitHub, Jira, and Confluence.
Familiarity with code quality tools (CodeScan, PMD).
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Copado Certifications (Fundamentals I/II, Developer, Administrator).
Salesforce Certifications (e.g., Platform App Builder, Administrator).
