CT Tech II
The CT Tech II is responsible for operating imaging equipment to perform procedures on a specified patient population, demonstrating the organization's mission and values through professional conduct and patient care.

What you will do

Perform quality radiologic procedures using appropriate technical and safety methods.

Assist in the development of others through guidance and teaching, promoting professional practice of the radiological services team.

Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and organizational policies and procedures.

Effectively manage resources such as supplies and equipment, planning work and completing job responsibilities efficiently.

Demonstrate professional work behavior and excellent customer service in all interactions.

Perform other job functions as required.

Education and Formal Training Requirements

Technical Degree or Diploma in Radiology.

Work Experience Requirements

CT Tech experience of 1-3 years.

Licenses and Certifications Requirements

Registered Technologist – Computed Tomography, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

BASIC LIFE SUPPORT, American Heart Association.

Registered Radiologic Technologist, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to effectively relate and communicate with internal and external customers.

Demonstrated clinical competencies in radiography imaging equipment and procedures.

Basic knowledge of radiology information systems (RIS, HIS, and PACS preferred).

Supervision Provided by this Position

No supervisory or lead responsibilities; may demonstrate job responsibilities to other Associates and observe/instruct student technologists.

Physical Demands

May include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, repetitive motion.

Must have good balance and coordination.

Physical exertion up to 50 lbs occasionally or up to 25 lbs frequently.

Requires close visual acuity, including color, depth perception, and field of vision for patient assessment and data analysis.

Frequent invasive and non-invasive patient contact.

Exposure to patient body fluids and hazardous materials.

Ability to react quickly to emergency situations.
