Responsibilities
Guide patients in selecting frames and lenses that fit their prescription needs, lifestyle, and personal style
Perform precise measurements, including PDs, seg heights, and frame adjustments
Verify prescriptions and inspect finished eyewear for accuracy
Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and eyewear care
Work closely with physicians and the clinical team to ensure seamless patient flow
Handle eyewear orders, troubleshoot lab issues, and maintain inventory
Provide an excellent, friendly, and professional patient experience every day
Cross‑train as needed to help with other office tasks when needed
Qualifications
At least 2 years of optician or optical experience required
Strong understanding of lens types, materials, and coatings
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Team mentality, open mindset
Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced clinical environment
Positive attitude, reliability, and a genuine desire to help patients
Organization skills
Experience with electronic medical records and optical ordering platforms is a plus
Certification is welcome but not required
Compensation
$16 - $18 hourly
