Job Description
A North Dallas Law Firm is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our Personal Injury Litigation team.
Responsibilities
NEOS software experience is preferred.
Excellent communicator and critical thinker.
Excellent writing ability.
Minimum of 1 year of experience with the entire personal injury process.
Attention to detail and excellent work ethics is a must.
Excellent customer service skills are key to this position.
The ability to effectively manage tasks and manage time is a necessity in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with the entire personal injury litigation process.
Ability to prepare and draft motions and other pleadings.
Ability to keep track of all case deadlines.
Knowledge of 18.001 affidavits and DWQ’s.
Ability to prepare and answer discovery.
Ability to schedule hearings, mediation, etc.
Ability and knowledge of the courts’ filing system (filing of appropriate documents and service of opposing parties.
Ability to assist with trials and depositions.
Continuously communicate and be comfortable talking with clients, courts, opposing counsel, experts and mediators.
