
Manager of HAP Pharmacy Analytics & Reporting - Fulltime

General Summary
The Manager, HAP Pharmacy Analytics & Reporting is responsible for enterprise pharmacy analytics that support Henry Ford Health and HAP across Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid lines of business. This role leads a small team of analysts, serves as the primary analytics partner to the Pharmacy Value Committee, and converts complex payer and pharmacy datasets into actionable insights that improve financial performance, clinical outcomes, and operational efficiency. Core accountabilities include data stewardship, reproducible reporting, production‑grade automation, and stakeholder partnership across CCS, HAP Quality, Finance, and Pharmacy leadership.
Education / Experience Required
Bachelor's degree in Health Care, Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Five (5) years in healthcare analytics with substantial exposure to payer or PBM data. Five (5) years of professional data analysis with advanced SQL. Demonstrated experience across the SDLC for analytics solutions. Experience working with large pharmacy or payer datasets and delivering production reports. Expert SQL for complex joins, optimization, and performance tracking on very large datasets. Strong analytical and statistical reasoning. Clear written and verbal communication. Proven ability to organize work, manage multiple priorities, and deliver on deadlines in a fast‑moving environment. Proficiency with reporting and visualization tools and with documentation and version control practices. Working knowledge of pharmacy benefit and medical benefit data structures, PBM concepts, quality measures, and health plan operations.
Preferred Experience: Experience with pharmacy quality programs including STARs. Experience with application reporting tools and dashboarding platforms. Familiarity with Epic data, McKesson EnterpriseRx, and payer data warehouses.
