The Associate Planner works within the production scheduling team. The Associate Planner plays a key role in supporting our supply chain team by contributing to the efficient production scheduling process. This position is responsible for collaborating with senior schedulers, analyzing inventory levels, and ensuring the timely execution of production schedules. The primary purpose is to assist in the coordination of varied activities to ensure the production of high‑performance products with the quality, delivery, and cost to meet customer’s requirements.
Job Functions

Monitor production schedules to ensure customer deadlines are met and communicate any delays to customer service.
Coordinate expedites and schedule changes with production planners and production.
Coordination of weekly production schedules and maintenance of work orders.
Track and assist in creation of new metrics such as production adherence and on‑time performance.
Scheduling and coordinating WIP to outside vendors for further processing.
Work with purchasing on component deliveries and impacts to schedule.
Research and correct inventory discrepancies.
Support forecasting activity by participating in forecast review meetings and provide feedback to supervisor as required.
Support capacity planning activities to ensure the site is meeting customer requirements.
Other duties and projects as requested / required by manager.
Education and Experience

Bachelor of Science Degree with an emphasis in Supply Chain, Operations Management or other business discipline required.
ASCM/APICS certification preferred.
2-5 years of direct and relevant manufacturing procurement experience required.
