We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead and support a team of 20+ skilled technicians in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring product quality meets or exceeds requirements, driving on-time delivery of products, overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with AS9100 requirements, and fostering a culture of continual improvement. Ensures that production output meets contract requirements and delivery dates.
Essential Job Functions
Ensure assembly time targets are at a minimum met for all production builds but strive for continual improvement and increased efficiency
Monitor and oversee time recording accuracy, including time sheet review and approval, ensuring staff work up to defined hours
Manage, mentor, and support a team of 20+ technicians to meet productivity, quality, and delivery goals.
Implement and sustain lean manufacturing practices, process improvements, and best practices to optimize efficiency.
Ensure compliance with AS9100 standards, customer specifications, and internal quality procedures.
Ensure productivity and work output of technicians with a continual improvement mindset
Apply strong delegation and organizational skills to balance resources and prioritize deliverables. Task shall be assigned to personnel that have the training, knowledge, skills, and efficiency needed to do what is expected.
Assist in the evaluation and appraisal employees' performance and follow-up with proper documentation.
Promote a professional, focused work environment by addressing and resolving conflicts, enforcing company policies/safety regulations, ensure tool and chemicals controls, and minimizing workplace distractions (e.g., excessive small talk, gossip, and personal cell phone usage).

Support recruitment, interviewing, evaluations, and disciplinary actions as required
Ensure we maintain a culture & practice of hard work ethic and quality on the build floor
Ensure technicians take extreme pride in their work and the products they build
Requirements
Proven experience as a Production Supervisor, Lead, or similar role in defense, aerospace, or high-reliability manufacturing.
5+ years of experience in a Manager or Supervisor role required.
Familiarity with
AS9100 standards
and defense industry requirements.
Excellent leadership, communication, and delegation skills with the ability to manage a large team.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
Proficient ability to read and interpret electro-mechanical drawings and bills of material
Proficient with mechanical and electrical assembly work including assembly, tooling, and test.
Familiar with work instructions and has the ability to improve/optimize assembly process.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to learn and apply new information and/or skills. Must be able to interpret data, information, and documents. Occasionally will need to lift/and or move up to 45lbs. Moderate environment temperature and noise level.
