Our Project Engineer Career Development (PECD) program focuses on in-field learning and development. Project Engineers master critical construction skills, including:

Scheduling and production rate tracking

Estimating

Budget preparation and project cost control

Safety management

Quality control

Business development and client relations

Field resource management

The goal of the PECD program is to develop our people into company leaders. They build experience across multiple competencies before being promoted into the career path they desire—project management, estimating, construction management, and more.

About the Team
Structural Long Island City office is located in Long Island City, NY and is primarily in‑office. The team focuses on parking structures, plaza decks, and pier repair work, mainly in commercial markets.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.

Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher.

One relevant internship experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Exceptional documentation and organizational skills.

Aptitude for solving problems.

Reliable transportation from the office to job sites.
