Mechanical Engineering Expert
Type:

Compensation:
$85–$93/hour
Location:
Remote
Commitment:
20 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
Author technical tasks to evaluate
AI model performance
on mechanical engineering problems.
Review and annotate tasks involving diagrams, figures, and schematics.
Produce original problem sets and write reference solutions.
Apply structured quality checks to ensure task accuracy.
Work
independently and asynchronously
with a
flexible schedule
to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
Must-Have
PhD
in
Mechanical Engineering , or
MS
with
3+ years
of applied experience, or
BS
with
5+ years
in design, simulation, or manufacturing.
Working fluency in at least two of: statics/dynamics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, machine design, or heat transfer.
Comfortable with engineering drawings, free-body diagrams, and performance curves.
Preferred
Prior teaching, tutoring, or technical writing experience.
